High above the reality of life, lives the reality
of imagination,
This is where the Dragons live, free to swoop and
soar,
Their flight bound only by their hearts
limitation.

Down into the depths of slumber must I travel, my
body feels light,
It's relieved of all its earthly ties and worries,
Further I travel, onward and upward through the
darkest night.

The stars are shining bright above me, then
suddenly they're below,
Still I travel, floating, climbing by the strength
of my belief,
At last I can see something, colours bright, lit
by an inner glow.

My pulse is racing, almost there, I'm blinded by
it's powerful light,
I hang full of wonder in the clean sharp air,
My dream has succeeded, at last I can see Dragons
in flight.

Slowly like a feather then gathering speed I fall,
The colours below rush to meet me,
To protect myself I curl up tightly into a ball.

Something cushions my fall and slowly I open my
eyes,
Held aloft by the gentle grasp of Dragons talons,
Pleasure and fear evident in my look of surprise.

My heartbeat steadies and at once elation fills my
soul,
The rhythm of my breathing matches the beating of
wings,
My muscles relax, my heart and life at last are
whole.
